

This show is part of Pensacola’s annual Foo Foo Festival and will run on week nights as well as the weekend. In defiance of their feuding families, they chase a future of joy and passion as violence erupts around them. Unrequited follows Romeo and Juliet as they risk everything to be together. The audience will dance with the Capulets in their grand ballroom, dodge the Montagues on the streets of Verona, and be a part of a thrilling affair. Based on William Shakespeare's romantic tragedy, Romeo and Juliet, Unrequited is an immersive theatrical event that takes small audiences through the Cultural Center as they follow the Characters through the story. She is delighted to be participating in the SWAN Festival in a role that explores female relationships, mentoring, and boundaries. Kerry Sandell (RUTH) has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance and a Master’s degree in Communication.

Kayla serves on the Board of Directors for Arrant Knavery, Inc, is a member of EdTA (Educational Theatre Association) and an Equity Membership Candidate. Favorite productions include Picasso at the Lapin Agile, The Secret Garden, On the Verge, A Christmas Carol, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Annie Get Your Gun, The 39 Steps, Guys and Dolls, and WebCamelot: The Series. She has performed professionally along the Gulf Coast and in New England. Kayla May (LISA) is a native to the Gulf Coast and holds a BA in Theatre Performance from the University of West Florida.
